Author W.O. Torres brings us the tale of Brody Rodriguez and how he turns his life from pro skate border to one of secret agent and then to one of protector. One day after his grandfather dies gets a chest that he didn't want but in that chest is a machine that would change his life. The Blue or other wise known as the Singularity. As soon as the blue bonds with Brody he runs out of his own condo up a few flights of stairs and saves a mans life. He then jumps out of the window with out a scratch and heads to his ex-girlfriends concert where she and his recent ex-girlfriend tell him to get lost. He then heads for his best friends apartment. All the while trying to learn the Blue. But that is only the beginning of the story as he is then recruited into a secret organization that goes and tries to stop AI from becoming too predominant in other countries. One night that he's off from saving the world he runs into a barista named Destiny. He loves her but he won't tell her knowing that he would break her heart with his current spy type job. And the leader of the group makes it known to Brody that he wants the singularity. As everything escalates a young girl shows up and rescues him telling him that she is his granddaughter. I won't give away the twist at the end but I have to say this is a great time-traveling book and I highly recommend it for all science fiction fans.
