Author Inge-Lise Goss brings us the story of Sara Jones and her journey from a mob bosses girlfriend to a powerful immortal. As the story opens Sara is on the run from her mob boss boyfriend who thinks that she stole some paperwork from them implicating everything that they do. While she's trying to hide from him she runs into someone who suggests that she hide out in Billings Montana. There she meets a man that she dose fall for but little dose she know is that he is assigned to her to help her transform from normal human into an immortal. As this is going on her former boyfriend finds her and takes her back to his place where she is kept as a prisoner instead of being able to go freely about. She is recused by the man whom she fell in love with and introduced to her father an immortal that wants to see his only daughter become like him. It takes some convincing but she dose. She learns of her mother and the love that she had for her father and the reason why neither of them where around but always kept apprised of her progression into womanhood. This is an interring story with lots of twists and turns and I highly recommend it for Fantasy fans.
