Author M.D. Cooper brings us the next phase of the Orion War. Tanis and Angela have ascended and merged into Tangel. Sara's double has set up a trap for them in the LMC. An ascended AI wants to show the ISF that they messed with the wrong system. That system is the one that Tangel sent the Andromeda to talk to about setting up ship yards for the growing alliance against Orion and the Authrian Transcend. Sara is going through a tough time running the Transcend while her AI ascended mother and her double have created something that would break through the ISF's status shields. Sara breaks away from running everything to go to LMC with the Governor of New Cannon inviting her along. Once there they find out that Sara's father had set up the fallback spot in the LMC long ago. But that's not all that they find out. Tangel runs to save the Andromeda and her crew securing that part of space but then she performs something that seemed impossible to get to the LMC only an hour later. This is a great book and I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series. I highly recommend the entire Orion War series to all science fiction fans.
