Author Sherry Thomas brings us Charlotte Holmes next adventure. Charlotte's sister Olivia was staying at a friends house working on her Sherlock Holmes novel when they had to evacuate. The ladies that where staying with Olivia where then taken to Lord Ingram's house along with a block of ice. But one day while Olivia and the women who like to snoop and have all the gossip stumble onto Lady Ingram's body in the ice house. Scotland Yard is then called and Inspector Tredles along with the carrier minded Chief Inspector are called to investigate the death. But while this is going on Olivia contacts her sister Charlotte whom arrives in the disguise of Sharon Ford Holmes, Sherlock's brother (At least that's what she tells the Chief Inspector. The case takes an unexpected turn as another body shows up dead in the ice house. But Lord Ingram has a tale to tell about that. All the while Charlotte is watching and doing her job to find out whom and what really happened to Lady Ingram because she notices clues that show that Lord Ingram didn't kill her. I won't give away the ending, but I can say I am looking forward to the next book in the series and I highly recommend this book to all Sherlock Holmes fans.
