Young hated humans and one day his weapon Stormsliver falls into the hands of a human raised by wereworlf demons. Arella. She doesn't know that the coin that she picked up while he was out fighting ghosts and wraiths, gooks, was a sward. But he tracks her down to Pack Manor where he insists that she give him back he sward but it isn't as easy has he may think. She bleed on the sward in corn form by tripping so it belongs to her. He then makes a deal with her that he will defend Pack Manor in order to train her. They then begin to fall in love but as we all know Love isn't easy and it takes baby steps. They do take baby steps. There is one other thing she can see and touch ghosts and befriends three of them, a former firefighter and a little girl and a teen. The teen is so filled with anger that you'll be surprised as to what happens. I highly recommend this book to all Fantasy lovers.
