Author Molly Harper brings us the continuing adventures of Riley and her coven. This time the focus is on Caroline and her past and future with Ben, a doctor whom had left the island to have a life. When he returned Caroline and him fell back into their old feelings and with his kids now added to the Shadow House coven. Over the course of the book we learn that the Wilted Rose is named after Caroline's great grandmother whom is the ghost responsible for the death of her family members. Caroline even through she's been injured by Ben's kids loves him and he her and they find a way to make things work. As this is going on the Wilted Rose breaks and it's with Riley's help and bank account that it's brought back to working order. But I won't give away the ending only saying, that I'm looking forward to book 3. I highly recommend this book to all Fantasy fans.
