Author Nika Gray brings us the continuing adventures of Sadie and her men at Protectors Academy. As the book opens it's only 1 week after the events of the last book and the Magical council has come to the Academy to speed up the process of putting Mages on the front lines at the Borderlands. Sadie though is suspect number one in their investigation of what happened to her friend who turned traitor on her. While all this is happening Sadie learns who she is thanks to one of the Academies professors sending her to meet a Fae friend of hers. There she learns that she is part of a prophecy to take down the magic council and free the fae trapped on the other side of the vaile, a magical border between the human world and the fae world. This is a great book with a lot of twists and turns and there is supposed to be a third in the series and I'm looking forward to reading it. I highly recommend this book to all Fantasy fans.
