Author R.B. O'Brien brings us the tale of two people who they had at the beginning thought that they couldn't get along with each other only to end up loving each other. Lauren, the main character that we experience the tale through starts her first year in college in an elite music program and it's there that she has her first run in with Colton the man who will torment her and fall in love with her. Lauren like all first year college students's want to put her noise to the grindstone and make her musical dreams come true. She additions for the schools production of Les Mis, and lands one of the leading parts but while this is going on she has a desire for Colton to love her but she doesn't tell him. It takes an event that brings them close together and they share their histories and how alike they really are. But after her first performance she is scouted by Julliard and is given the chance to fulfill her dreams but at the cost of what she and Colton built. This is a great novel and one not to be missed. I highly recommend it to everyone.
