Author Sarah K. L. Wilson brings us the tale of a war with the Fae and their demand via prophecy that the head Fae would marry a woman whom tried to take the body of the woman that the king had ordered to be sold to the Fae. It is up to knight Oakensen to go and fetch the kings illegitimate daughter Iva and bring her back to the front. As soon as they reach Iva's location she and the woman that she works for go with Oakensen and along the way she tries to steal Iva's body but Iva and Oakensen make sure that she isn't able to. It is also found out that the Fae had given the lady the amulet that would make the transformation possible. This is a great fantasy novella and I highly recommend for all Fantasy fans. I'm also looking forward to which series Sarah is going to show up in next.
