Author G. Bailey brings us the story of Madi a descendant of sleeping beauty though she doesn't know of this until the morning of her 17th birthday. That morning her parents wake her up early and present her with a book. That book says to her that it's been 200 years since the last hair had come about. She then freaks out and asks her parents what's going on. They tell her and they tell her the fact that she has to leave for the Lost Time Academy that night. She reluctantly goes even though she's had to say goodbye to her boyfriend whom she loves with all her heart. Her mother goes with her to through a portal to the island where the tales academy is. Once there she says goodbye to her mom and steps into a world unlike any that she has been prepared for. Once in the Academy she is given a living book whom belonged to her ancestor. She then learns that her childhood friends the Tale brothers are also here and that they haven't forgotten her. For a fantasy book about fairy tale descendants it's good and a quick read too. I highly recommend it to all Fantasy fans. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the trilogy.
