Author Travis Beacham brings us the tale of Hope and her sister Darcy as they fight to stay alive in a French castle in the middle of a winter caused by an asteroid that had been called by a very old Vampire. On one night Darcy and her friends are out in the cold country side when she's taken by an overlord. An overlord is a head Vampire and one of the ones that now controls the once human controlled area. But in taking Darcy he had given birth to an anointed, a very rear vampire but Darcy becomes accustomed to her new way of life and knows that things need to change in the Vampire community. As this is going on a former spy during world war 2 turned vampire had come to their castle for refuge and befriend Hope. This is a great audio drama and it reminded me of the series Van Helsing. I highly recommend this audio for all Vampire science fiction fans.
