Author Ivy Hearne brings us the second tale in the second year of Kacie's adventure at the Hunters' Academy. It's near Halloween and the students are gearing up to go out and pretend to be a monster or something else. Kacie and Izzy are looking for what costume that they're going to wear that can also hold their weapons. Then on Halloween they meet up with the rest of their friends and go on a scavenger hunt. The hunt leads Kacie and her friends an office that Kacie is vaguely familiar with but she can't put her finger on it. That is until she realizes that her favorite teacher Ms. Hush has been taken by the enemy and by her Wrath family. Kacie then decides to contact her friend behind the lines and they work together to locate Ms. Hush and free her. I won't spoil the ending but I'm ready to read the next book in the series to see what happens. I highly recommend this novella to all Fantasy fans.
