Author Ivey Hearne brings us Kacie's first day of her second year at the Hunters' Academy with Course Schedules. Kacie comes back to the Academy with a new friend a hound shifter named Caleb. Caleb and Kacie meet during the summer while Izzy and Bash were having their adventure. But Kacie is introduced to her new roommate since her last one left to study aboard. Her new roommate is frighted of her because of all of the stories that have been told about her during the summer break. But as this is going on the shape shfter who can double any one rears his head again and makes trouble for the Academy pack. It's up to Kacie and Izzy to craft a spell that would help them find one of their own and trap the shape shifter. This is a good reintroduction to Kacie's character. I highly recommend this novella and the rest of the series to all Fantasy fans.
