Author Ivy Hearne brings us Kacie's next adventure with Spring Break. Folling the death of Headmistress Gale the new head of the Hunters' Academy gives the students a longer spring break. And while the rest of the school is off Kacie and her hunting partner and his brother are ordered to go down to St. Augustine Florida to observe and report on a sea monster that has been attacking the locals. Kacie and her team soon find out that the sea monster is a shiftier who eats people from off the beach. She decides to use her new power to stop it. That is will I will leave the description but I have to say that I enjoyed this novella and I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series. I highly recommend this series for fantasy fans.
