Author Ivy Hearne brings us the fifth adventure for Kacie at the Hunters' Academy with Valentine's Dace. Kacie hasn't been feeling well as a matter of fact she really isn't herself and her friends and teachers as well as her boyfriend can see it. The villeins have implanted a parasite that has been controlling her. They know more about her than she knows and she frightens them. But as Kacie goes to the Academy doctor she becomes paranoid and attempts to flee but her friends and hunting partner recaptures her. This is a great novella and it makes you look forward to the next novella in the series. I highly recommend this series and as I said before I am looking forward to the next book.
