Author Ivy Hearne brings us the opening chapter in the Hunters' Academy series with Entrance Exam. Kacie DeLuca isn't your normal girl, she get's migraines that hinder how she is able to do anything. But when the recurter for the Hunters' Academy shows up at her school she finds out that she has powers unlike what she thought she had. Her mental blocks have begun to subside as she learns how to control her physic ablates which helps her help out two of her class mates that have to go through their own entrance exam. But things start to heat up when the Academy's headmaster has gone missing and Kacie finds out that its the dark forces that are working against the school and the magical world. This is a great quick read and I'm looking forward to reading the other books in this series. I highly recommend this book for fantasy fans.
