Author James Lovegrove brings us his second Sherlock Holmes adventure. The neconomican has made trouble for Sherlock and Doctor Watson again. This time the sprite of one of the elder gods has taken control of a Doctor from America who had been taken on a voyage down the Miskationic river where he and his friend attempt to catch a sea serpent but along the way they get a chance to use what they learned in medical school to transfer one mind into the body of another. This prototype didn't last long. But as Sherlock and Watson close in on the the final villain of this adventure they uncover the truth that one of those elder gods has declared war on them and on Earth at the same time. This was a great book and I highly recommend this trilogy to all Sherlock and Doctor Who fans.
