Author's Jody & Jayme Morse bring us the story of Tessa following the death of her parents two years ago she went on the run from the Blackwood pack. A pack of werewolves that destiny has put her in. On the last part of that chase she and her then boyfriend the Vampire Zander go to a wooded park where they hope to lose the Blackwood pack. That dose not happen because she falls from a high ledge and breaks her ankle. Zander leaves her to find help but dose not come back. The Blackwoood pack finds her and she beings to fall for them. Their mate bond is showing through and because she's supposed to be apart of them she heals. She then learns of the prophecy that she is to be the next Blackwood Queen. She also learns that her parents were killed by the father of the Blackwood pack. This is a great book and I'm looking forward to reading book two. I highly recommend it to all Fantasy fans.
