Author's Chris Hartford & Jason M. Hardy bring us the next chapter in the Proliferation Cycle. This novella opens and closes on a battlefield, the opening battle shows us that the Federated Suns is fighting against the Lyran Commonwealth and that they're General-Captain has ordered his troops to leave the planet while he takes a tank into battle against the mechs. During the story proper three engineers have been accused of letting mech plans be leaked but that's the thing they don't know how it happened or to whom the leak went to. As we follow the engineers we learn that the lead engineers girlfriend is the one that setup the leak for vengeance against the Commonwealth. This is a great chapter in this cycle and I'm looking forward to reading the next. I highly recommend this novella to all science fiction and Gundam/Mech fans.
