Author Michael J. Ciaravella brings us the last book in the Mercenary tales. This time its the Northwind Highlanders that take the center stage as the Jihad is going on. They had been mercs for the Republic of the Sphere but now on their last mission of which they fought valiantly they are being meet by a Paladin of the Republic. This knight has said that they would forever be welcomed in the Republic and that they are to continue to fight when called upon. This is a great novella and if there is more from the Mercenary Tales I'm looking forward to reading them. I really liked the description of the combat and how the Highlanders fought. I highly recommend this series to all Mech fans and Gundam fans too.
