Audible brings us Author William Gibson's early draft of the script for Alien 3 that has been adapted into this form and a graphic novel as well. In this telling of Alien 3 The Sulaco drifts off course through a sexton of space controlled by the UPP and they board her while Riply, Hicks, Newt, and Bishop are in their hyperspace sleep chambers. Bishop hasn't been fully powered down even though he is in two peaces and he can sense that there is something in his hyper sleep chamber with him but he doesn't know what until the UPP officers crack the chamber. Then a an alien egg that had been planted on Bishop by the alien queen during the short time that she had him by her tale and tore him in two before she fought Riply, They take their fallen comrade back to their station and send the Sulaco on her way again. This time the ship is redirected by Wayland-Yutani to their Anchorpoint station where events begin to speed up. This is a great dramatization of what could've been the film and I do highly recommend both this audio and the graphic novel.
