Author Sherry Thomas brings us the opening adventure for Lady Sherlock Holmes. Charlotte Holmes is the youngest of her family and the one that her mother wants to marry off. Since it's Victorian England and all of the best women marry into money and title. But that is not what Charlotte dose, first she makes the man whom her mother has set up for her before he was married cheat on his wife with her and second she then blackmails her father so she can train to be a headmistress at a school. But in life things don't go according to plan and that even happens to Charlotte who then leaves her family and goes to London where she meets Ms. Watson and they form a partnership. As that takes place there are several murders that happen and it's Sherlock (Charlotte) who puts the clues together for Scotland yard. This is a great take on Sherlock Holmes and I'm looking forward to listing to the next book in the series. I highly recommend this book to all Sherlock Holmes fans.
