A Dutiful Son: A Pride & Prejudice Varation by Kelly Miller

Author Kelly Miller brings us a parallel universe to Jane Austins original Pride and Prejudice. This universe brings different perspectives to the original. Darcy is in love with Elizabeth Bennett and has been for quite a while but has always been reluctant to express his feelings for her. She on the other hand has felt the same but it takes a month at his house and a meeting with someone whom Darcy doesn't care for as well as his father dying in order for him to be able to even think of marrying her. Her best friend is Darcy's sister and she one night finds a letter that Elizabeth wrote but put in the fire, even though it didn't burn it still caused the ending that as a reader you would hope for. This is a great parallel universe to the original and I highly recommend it to all Victorian era fans.
