Author Sherry Thomas brings us the continuing adventures of Charlotte Holmes as she is called upon to investigate a death that leads back to her family. First she is shown a body that bears a resemblance to her estranged brother. Then her rival for the man that she loves comes to him and asks Sherlock to investigate her former lover's disappearance. As she is doing this her sister Olivia is being flirted with she also begins to write her own Sherlock Holmes adventures turning her into a type of Doctor Watson (Whom Author Conan Doyle used when he wrote Sherlock.) As the mystery continues we find that Charlotte's father has plans to abduct her and bring her back to her family which would destroy everything that she has accomplished. Charlotte was ready for this for this is her first game with Moriarty. The game is afoot as Sherlock would say and I'm looking forward to listing to the next adventure for Charlotte Holmes. I highly recommend this book to all Sherlock fans.
