Author Sanzaki Kojika brings us the next book in the Archive of Sinners series. This time the theme is Greed. Cain Investigations is charged with getting an old mirror back from an auction house that even though they have the right documents really stole the mirror to be old in a black auction on Halloween night. The two Germans who higher them are doing so under false pretenses but their motives are pure. Vere has his power doubled through the book as he is able to sense when the ghost in the mirror is about to attack. And as she attacks she asks, "What do you want?" This is a haunting book about a trapped spirit whom Vere has to face along with some revitalization about his past. I highly recommend this book and series to everyone.
