Author T.G. Ayer brings us the third book in her Chronicles of the Irin series. Evie returns to the brotherhood of the Irin only to be knocked out and taken to a cell with no word or reason why this has happened. She walks up and is strapped to a chair that is forbidden to use by all angelic creatures. Evie now being part Hades has to deal with this and is soon taken to the new head of the brotherhood who feeds her and makes sure that she's comfortable while she is waiting for her trial to being. She didn't know about this and given that she is now in danger the gargoyles that are assigned to guard her now have an infiltrator who is there to look after her while she is in a cell. She finds a note written in angelic blood that is invisible to normal vision and that note says that she's going to be looked after by a loyal servant. She then asks one of the visiting Demon Overlords to take a message back to the other half of Hades asking him to come and help her. This is an interesting chapter in this saga and I'm looking forward to reading the next book. I highly recommend this series to all.
