Author Niki Livingston brings us a different perspective on the life of Sami. Shortly after she is freed and goes and kills the whole town that held her in prison for years Sami meets her aunt Charity who she thinks she let go while she destroyed her business. But Charity knows that her ancestors want her to take Sami's power for her own so she follows her niece in order to kill her and take what she thinks is hers. Later with an astral projection she finds the Kings general and seeks her revenge on him. But as this is going on Cassie, Sami's former lover and now ghost whispers into Charity's ears. But the end is something that I won't spoil because this is a great story and one that I highly recommend.
