Clive by Don Drewniak

Author Don Drewniak brings us an interesting short story about a man named Clive. Clive who had once had a dream of being an astronomer but has had to settle with being the spouse to as described a three hundred pound woman and is doomed to spend the rest of his life as a mechanic even though he is the head mechanic. One day his wife asks him to get some tomato's from their back guardian but as Clive walks to his back porch he sees that his guardian is gone and has been replaced by a black goo that he thinks is oil. He yells and his wife comes and takes a belly flop into the goo before consuming her. Clive just is in shock and makes sure that he isn't held responsible for her disappearance and calls the cops. I won't spoil the rest of the story but this is great short fun read and I look forward to reading what else Don has written.
