Author Carissa Ann Lynch brings us a tale of an aunt Emily Anhborn and her friends and family is the small town of Bar Border Indiana. After Emily is asked by her sister to come to the place that had been her home before she moved on with her life she meets her niece and nephew and falls in love with them from the first moment on. But that night her sister goes missing and Emily takes it upon herself to look after her sister's kids until she returns. After a weekend she calls the cops and winds up talking to a man who was her boyfriend back when they where in their early teens. But things change as the ex-husband of her sister comes by and takes the kids in a sense freeing her to find her sister. I won't give away the ending but Carissa has done it again with characters that make you want to root and be shocked by. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
