Author D.S. Lillico brings us a different take on the Kaiju story. I, Kaiju is told through the eyes of the Kaiju herself and one of the doctors who is sympathetic to her. The book begins with the Kaiju being put into a tank and Doctor Micheal Lawson and his college Gwen Matthews being called in to study the find which is not a giant squid but as the Kaiju herself says on a device that they call a water type the light from another world. And with everything that subject A can do she is plus after she devastates Las Vegas and turns her eye toward Las Angeles she finds another Kaiju berried two hundred feet down below the earth and knows that as it sleeps she has a lot of killing to do. Which all that killing is caused by the general who took her to Area 51 and the doctor that he had put in charge who is not Doctor Lawson or Matthews for they want to know how to kill her or any other Kaiju they come across. This is an interesting book and one that I would recommend to all Kaiju fans once the digital copy is rereleased.
