Author Russell T. Davis who is also known as the man that brought Doctor Who back to the screen in 2005 has now adapted the first episode of the continuation of the series Rose. Rose Tyler is a normal 19 year old girl from London who goes to work and hangs out with her boyfriend Micky Smith and his band who during the events of this story are called Bad Wolf. One day Rose is at work when she is asked to take the money for the lottery down to the basement to give it to Bernie Wilson whom we find out is not the nicest of men and who gets killed in the initial attack by the Autons. Rose meets the doctor as he rescues her and shoves her out side of the shop saying, "Nice to meet you Rose. Run for your life!" The rest of the book goes along the same lines as the rest of the episode but gives us a little more winder feeling as we find out that Rose remembers the tenth doctors words to her on new years eve. Plus there is a little scene with Dona Noble and her grandfather. This is a great novelization and one that I highly recommend for all Doctor Who fans.
