Author J.L. Clayton brings us a different point of view of the opening book in the Chosen Saga: A Spark of Magic. We see the story through Jace's eyes as Charlie grows up around him and falls in love with him. But after the last time that her memory was wiped she has no idea who he is and why she feels like she dose around him. It's a bitter reunion when he realizes that Charlie doesn't remember him or even remember their childhood together, But now we see that Jace has magic and that he can control it but we also see that his love for Charlie out ways his own needs. I highly recommend this novella if just for the insights and history that we are witness too. I am looking forward to reading book two in the Chosen Saga.
