Author Carissa Ann Lynch brings us a tale of witches, trolls, shape sifters, ghosts. Dorothea moves from her home with her mother into her grandmother's house in Black Cat springs and is handed a box that belonged to her grandmother. That box contains a key that has opened up a world of danger for Dor as she settles into her new home. Along the way she is drawn to a fence where she crosses into an area that she feels is familiar to her and meets her first ghost. As she runs away she knows that she will be back and she wont be alone for her new boyfriend Adam also has powers and that he is also apart of what is going on in town. This book is great and one that I highly recommend but unfortunately there is only the audio version available. I am looking forward to reading Carissa's next book and hope that she continues this series too.
