Silent Blade by Ilona Andrews

Author Ilona Andrews brings us the opening chapter of the Kinsman universe. The Kinsman are like intergalactic gangsters who control a number of earth colonies. But this story deals with two one named Megi who is an assassin and not by choice and the man who would've been her husband in an arranged marriage. This is an interesting but great read and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this duology.
