Dawn by J.J. Green

Author J.J. Green brings us Jas's next adventure as the crew of the Galathea are ordered to orbit the planet Dawn. Dawn is the planet where they screen for the Shadows that have popped up across the the galaxy and where we meet a young man who will become apart of the crew. As Jas settles in for the examination process and after she finds that the people of this colony are more Amish in their ways. She also learns that the leader of the colony and not the governor beats his kids and probably his wife too. But the Shadows invade and take over some of the towns people and half of the shuttle base too. This is a gripping story and one that I enjoyed reading and I am looking forward to the next installment in this series.
