Thorne: The Complete series by R.B. O'Brien

Author R.B. O'Brien brings us into the twisted and sensual universe of Thorne. The story is told from the main characters point of view as he meets the woman Victoria Rose who turns his life upside down. Throne takes Victoria on as his Personal assistant with benefits. But there is the contract between them that she will work for him for three months and maybe more but as we near the middle of the book we find out that Victoria is a talented musician. We also find out how fast the green eyed monster rears it's head in Thorne's mind as he slowly falls for Victoria this second installment. We see that William Thorne is torn between his feelings for Rose (Victoria in the first book) and his fight against the tobacco company as well as his refusal to see his sick mother. As Rose works her way back into his life even if just for a little she brings out real feelings of love out of Throne but he fights it every step of the way except for the night that he brings Rose her grandfathers piano. R.B. O'Brien really ups the sensuality of Rose and Throns's relationship in this book. In this last book we see things go from bad to worse for Rose and William Thorne up to the point where he finally while testing a new PA let's his feelings for Rose be known. She is over joyed but as the time grows near for Throne to go to trial for the dead that put all of them in their current situations he dose everything in his power to make sure that Rose is taken care of. And he shows it too even to the point where he confronts his former enemies along with his former girlfriend who is a monster. Even though Throne kept thinking to himself that he was one, this experience and loving Rose has shown him that he really isn't and that he has something that he never thought that he would have. This is a great book and R.B. dose make you feel for these characters. This book will also leave you wanting to read more of her work and that is a great feeling. I highly recommend this whole trilogy
