Author Karen Ward Wilder brings us a life learning lesson for the title character of Jack Wentworth. Jack is a middle-school student who is being bullied. Along his journey he talks with a homeless Doctor who's name is on the library that he goes to. He also gets advice from his father but it is his guidance councilor who suggests that he take a writing class to express his feelings. Jack takes her up on her offer and begins the class. His last assignment in the class is what really makes him see the world in a different light. Overall this a good book.
