The Day Trip by Stephen W. Cheshire

Author Stephen Cheshire brings us the tale of an alien invasion that has the flair of war of the worlds but on a more interesting note. This tale begins with the landing of one ship in Russian territory while a short time later another of the alien crafts lands in a small tunnel under central park in New York. This book builds on the characters and makes you feel everything that they've gone through up until the end which will leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this book and I can also see that this book would be great as a film.
