Zoots Roots takes place in a cyberpunk future city called Dominion and Zoot is a kid genius who has been taken under the wing of a gang leader named Ric who wants to use him to become the top leader in his origination. But Zoot is soon lead to the kingpin of the city whom he ends up killing and later on is taken by the state. This was a great novella and it would make a great film or TV movie. I highly recommend it.
