Author Molly Neely takes on a a tale that spans the whole of human history from the ancient Egyptian days up to the prescient day. The Sand Dweller deals with the story of one man named Malachi who is half human and his fight against the Sun God Ra, although this Ra is the birth of the vampire legend and not the one that we see in Stargate. Along the course of the book Malachi turns toward the one true God in order to be saved but he fights Ra at every step, the ending will leave you wanting to know what will happen to him. I do recommend that if you like fantasy that you pick up a copy.
