Last Chance picks up right after Lost Soul ends and we find Kai now on a search for her mother in the Wrath realm, there she meets the head of the Wrath rebellion but after an unsuccessful attempt to free her mother from the evil Wrath she returns home and then get's ambushed only to survive and to find out her mother is in a facility in Nevada, she then rescues her mother and to find out her uncle is still alive, this book has a lot of twists and turns and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
